1st February 1982

ART EXAM 2. Chuffed with Biol mark 57% Grade 2! Joint 2nd. Couldn't believe it! Art exam aft. Home late. TV quite good.

2nd February 1982

Wish I could see DL. Temp bit down on yest. but still mild. Nowt exciting happened at school. AC/DC in chart at No.14 'Let's Get it Up.' Kraftwerk 'The Model' No.1.

3rd February 1982

Bit colder today. Louise got me with 1/2 bottle of perfume & these lad rockers cum past and 1 sed 'perfume - beautiful! SHOWN! TV quite good. STONES.

4th February 1982

Weather mild again. Lessons rather boring - especially Maths. Did Eng & SH HMWK. Chuffed cos brill AC/DC, Gillan & Meat Loaf on TOTP. Washed hair & saw about half a film on ITV.

5th February 1982

Rained most of day but still quite mild. Maths lesson VERY boring!! What a drag!! Sent appl form off. Didn't watch TV. Music interested me all night.

6th February 1982

'Late' today. Just sat around in morn but didn't watch Tiswas. Took Heralds but no money off 'thing' yet. Read Biol. Do SH tom. TV quite good.

7th February 1982

Surprized meself cos got up before 10am. Wow! Listened to radio, washed hair in bath & r player. Top 40 & Airline good.

8th February 1982

Didn't like today much at all especially in morn. Alright in aft cos Dowarty away so me & Chez went to Lin's 4 2 hrs. She's got brill records. DAD IS TIGHT.

9th February 1982

A repulsive boy in 4th yr fancies me & Anj tried to get him over to me & I CAN'T STAND 'IM!!! Not friends with them or anyone else. Probably will be tom though.

10th February 1982

Felt very shivery when I got up so stayed off school. Throat not as bad now. N varnish off M Jackson. Very lonely but radio cheered me up.

11th February 1982

Went back to school but in aft poorly again cos throat went worse instead of better. TOTP good.

12th February 1982

Throat really sore so stayed off school & was shivery all day so couldn't stay up for long. Went to Dr who prescribed antibiotics. BROKE UP TODAY.

13th February 1982

Even though I'm ill I should go out but I look such a mess! Wash hair tom. Spurs v WBA won cup ties & L'pool lost. SHOWN!

14th February 1982

St Valentine's Day. Weather lovely & sunny but deceptive cos when outside freezing! Did windows. Listened to Top 40. Washed hair & watched ace Airline.

15th February 1982

LIBRARY TOMORROW!!! Up around 1/2 10. Throat still sore & can't speak very well. Went to shop but did me no good! Radio, TV ace.

16th February 1982

Up late cos lost track of time. Pills working. TV crap, radio alright.

17th February 1982

Similar day to yest. Ma bought Liqufruta for my terrible coughing which is working, along with pills. Cold day. Didn't venture out. TV/radio crap.

18th February 1982

Up very late. Had dinner & got r player down cos everyone out. Something wrong with it. Cold & damp. TOTP bit crappy.

19th February 1982

Up early. Ma went to Waterloo Rd & met Dad to go to market. Got me own swill (pie). Nowt exciting happened & nowt went right for me!!! Friday Rock Show.

20th February 1982

Everyone complaining at how cold it is so I didn't do Heralds & Dad sed I'm not going to do them ever again. Yes, sir! Depressing day.

21st February 1982

Don't think as cold as yest but didn't go out to find out. Had bath & washed hair. Did SH. Top 40 clap. Scot in Airline called Sean Scanlan.

22nd February 1982

Fulford gonna set out rules for 5th Yrs & we're to leave soon! Stupid! Lessons bit ropey & keep reminding us of exams! Oh, no! TV bit grotty.

23rd February 1982

Only Mrs Booth had us be workaholics today! Must start revision but the thort of exams makes me scared!!!

24th February 1982

Seemed to be bumping into kids a lot today & it wasn't on purpose!! Headache. Ordinary day. Revised at home. Wolj hair cut. Nice.

25th February 1982

Took kit 4 PE & fat Ash not here. Great! Like Badminton too. Quite warm day even though damp. TOTP had ace Iron Maiden on.

26th February 1982

Put jacket on but rained in morning. Glad it cleared up though. Need to put more effort in Geog & SH to pass. Friday Rock Show.

27th February 1982

Up about 1030am. Didn't watch TV & stayed in kitchen. Dad persuaded me to take Heralds. Money tom - I hope! Telly good tonight.

28th February 1982

Up late for dinner. Had bath yest so today did more SH & listened to radio & r player. Top 40. Last one of Airline but n series soon. Glad cos it's ace.
