Depressing day. Weather OK though. Had bath, washed hair & listened to record player & radio before watching telly. Hope tomorrow isn't cold.

Went to School. Glad Wendy back cos Shaz away. Saw DL couple of times & managed to smile as he walked past. Wish he would too. No HMWK.
3rd February 1981
Don't think Dave here today cos didn't see him & neither did anyone else. Windy day. Shaz absent (2nd time). Dad fixed me bike. John Lennon's song "Woman" No.1.

Saw DL loads of times & heard that he's passed his O.D's! He's cute! Not exciting lessons & telly load of crap too! Read book in bed.

Chuffed cos DL here & Riley away - so he got no hassle! Cold (windy). Maths teacher awat (Jed) but still got SH & Eng HMWK. Good day.

Went shopping with Ma - town with Chez. Bought ear-rings (2 pairs) & pen refill. Chez got ace shoes at only £3. Telly good.

WENDY BROUGHT ME HOME FIRST THING THIS MORNING - FELL ON ICE - MADE ME DIZZY. PALE - DOCTOR/BLOOD TEST HOSP (LACK OF IRON IN BLOOD). HOSPITAL TOMORROW TOO.

Had another blood test at hosp & have to do faeces tests. Can't go to school. Great. No fillings at the Dentist. Yippee!

Up at 10 (early for me)! Listened to radio, read book (finished one). Also visited Sharon's/Cheryl's house. WP braggin about Val cards. Couldn't give a toss!

Stayed in all day. Listened to radio including ace DLT show. Grange Hill good and new series Scot teenager on & 2 other series Joe Dolce No.1 Dire Straits moved up 4.

HOSPITAL. Put me on pills to build up my iron. Nowt else wrong with blood. Listened to radio, read & played with Space Invaders. Telly better than usual.

Similar day to yesterday except I went out for a few minutes to shop. Got well ahead with 'Rats' book - may even finish it soon. TOTP quite good - Rainbow ace.

Ma went to work & went off boozing with Enid. I listened to radio & played with game & read book as usual. Cold day. Telly prog not brilliant.

SCHOOL. Saw DL who keeps staring at Wendy. She says he's bugging her though! Me too! W Palso brought Charlie perfume too. Not much HMWK. Telly.

Dinner-time awful cos Chuck & his mate sprayed soap/water all over Wend but Chuck stopped soon cos she annoyed! DL didn't join in at dinner. Kill him tom if he does anything like that!

Chuck's mate kneed Wendy in stomach but Noddy/Riley kneed him somewhere painful! Saw DL who didn't take part in it - good lad! No HMWK. Telly.

Had laugh today. Not like yest. SH/DL joined our Biol set & sat behind me & Wendy. Didn't speak. Earlier DL said 'Bye!' to ME & smiled! Going to have to watch him!

Good day. Saw DL about 3 times. CUTE! Chez sulking - don't know why. I sed 'Don't smile - we might have a nuclear war.' She didn't. HMWK & Telly.

Nowt exciting happened. Typed letter for Sylvia & John. Practised SH too. Went to shop. In Dallas Sue Ellen found Dusty in wheelchair & can't see each other 'cos no children.

1st January 1981
Not exciting day for New Year. Read & finished Blizzard book - ace. Also read bit of Flood. After tea good telly inc Papillon film with S McQueen.
2nd January 1981
Peaceful day & played records instead of radio and had another go on typewriter (like it). Weather not warm. Nowt spectacular on telly either!
3rd January 1981
Had to go shopping cos Mum not well. Messed around with typewriter, peeled spuds & listened to records after watching Dick Emery.
4th January 1981
Read bit of Geog/Biol & did SH practice. Had bath, washed hair & read again while listening to radio. Watched ace true orphan film (made me cry at times)!
5th January 1981
BACK TO SCHOOL. Saw DL loads of times. Once he came into S.23 & Deb sed he stared. Oh dear! Fed up so bed early & looked at Biol & Geog.

Saw DL a lot again & Riley won't leave him be - he embarrasses me! Chez mad cos Chuck went 4 Army Int in aft. Maths HMWK. Listened to Zenyatta Mondatta (Police LP from Deb).

Saw David few times & Chez thought SH wasn't coming cos she never saw him in morn! Noddy dies tom (called 'David' out). Quite good day. Wish I could go to Wendy's party.

Good day. DL looked at me from queue! Saw him nr. S.23 too & he laughed when he saw Chez pull me by scarf. Enjoyed myself. Back to revision ? though.

Revised in morning whilst listening to radio. Took Dire Straits & Police to Chez's house & talked you know who! Good day - going tom too. Records at home.

Revised in morning & went to Cheryl's in afternoon. Took tape & played that & Dire Straits that Chez recorded. Had another chat & can go to party.

Nana's Birthday. 'Fraid I like DL again cos I heard him say 'hello' to Wendy & he turned me on! He's cute on his own - mustn't make him break friends with Chuck.

EXAMS. Maths/Eng/Biol. Eng Exam best of 3. Saw DL once at dinner-time & he pushed that awful 'ginger-nut' in front of me (wished it were t'other way round)!

Geog/Typ/SH exams. Thought Geog exam had too much Glaciation in it - SH & Typ good. Saw DL at Swill Time - he is ACE. Not so much Eng Lit today. Cold.

2nd in Biol. Eng Lit Exam (last one). Boring in morn cos no exams til afternoon. Ace dinner-time. Chez said 'let's go out' & I said 'I'll miss him then' & DL heard me! Good day. Snowed.
17th January 1981
Up late. After swill went to Cheryl's & played AC/DC, Axe Attack & Police/Madness tape. Listened to Dire Straits record at home. Bath & watched Dallas.
18th January 1981
Up late again which gave me wonderful headache. Went to Chez's house after dinner & had laff at film on telly. Rainy day. DL at Swill Time tom (he's got exams).
19th January 1981
Riley & Chez stirred it up between me & DL - Chez moreso & he called me 'ugly' cos she wouldn't keep her big gob shut! Not speaking to her now. 36% Maths - not bottom.

Riley said Lancy woz 'ere but I never saw him. Spoke to Chez but she didn't seem chuffed about something or other (balls to her anyway) it's DL I think about! 78% Typ (5th) 47% Geog (5th).
21st January 1981
Saw DL couple times at dinner & he didn't say 'owt nasty 4 a change. Chez shown cos Wend called Chuck over. Me shown too - at S.23 they kept coming past door & knocking on it during our Geog lesson.
22nd January 1981
Joe's Birthday. Saw DL a lot today & he didn't call me names - good boy! Chuffed with SH mark 92%! Came 3rd & beat Wendy! TOTP crap - no Phil Ed!

Quite good day. Saw ACE Dave & Chez sed he stared at me not Wendy! Good 4 him! Wendy braggin' about Barbados holiday with Darbs. Couldn't care less really & looking forward to tomorrow.

PICTURES with Chez. Went to see "Life of Brian" at Odeon - it was ACE, every swear word under the sun was in it! The stoning & the crucifixion were good. When crucified everyone in shackles called 'You Lucky Bastard!'

Kept Mum company today & listened to record player & radio. At 6 went to Gena's to get hair cut. It's ACE - not in my eyes now. Phil Collins 'In the Air Tonight BIP!

Not exciting day. In fact I was bored as Hell! Saw David though & then WP cheered me up by saying DL ain't got a dynamic personality - soon change that! Bloody cheek!

Another non-excitement day cos didn't see DL! Narked cos missed Grange Hill (forgot) & Todd Carty on. Ah, shucks! Heard Top 40 though & J Lennon still No.l with Imagine.

Wendy went home later on in morning. Saw DL loads of times - wish Lin & Ali would shut up about them - I'm not blind! Felt grotty meself but recovered - partly.

Knew Chez'd be upset when told her about Davies - stirring between Chez/Chuck. Nor sorted out. Saw DL - cute & his brother Paul. Wendy absent. Ultravox, JL, Phil Collins & Slade only good records on TOTP.
30th January 1981
Didn't feel well when up so stayed off school. Cold in bones as well as migraine (which disappeared after taking Migraleve tablets). Kept warm.

Wendy's party off! Wonder if she's better yet. Me & Mum not 100% fit & Dran & Drad's making us worse! Not exciting day - bit depressing really. Dallas good.
