Best day this week (for weather). Had bath & sunbathed all day. After tea listened to Top 40 for 2hrs. After tea about 1hr of television & went to bed.

Equalled record for seeing Tony - 9 times!! Grotty weather. Lessons not bad. Got 8 for Gingerbread. Was going to take radio but weather too wet. Hardly any HMWK. Watched box & revised Geog in bed.

Sunny day. Saw Tony 6 times & had to pass him at Peel entrance (he was waiting for me to come out)! Also saw nice-looking lad at Park again but didn't follow him today.

Saw Tony 7 times inc. homnetime. No HMWK so revised a bit. Took Tib to Vet with Mum & she's got sore shoulder. Beautiful day. Bed early - didn't revise (too hot).

Sort of revised & watched telly at same time today. Saw International (schoolboys) Eng v Scot. Scotland won 5-4 ACE game & 1 of our lads scored hat-trick! Also watched film.

Beautiful day & sunbathed earlier. Hot in afternoon so came in to watch Olympics. Alan Wells Gold for us in 100m. Daley Thompson doing well in Decathlon - so has S Coe & S Ovett in heats.

Watched telly all day. Ovett won gold, Coe silver medals. Thompson won gold for Decathlon. M Kelly won silver in swimming, Oats bronze. DALLAS a bit boring but evil!

Too hot to sunbathe so I watched telly incl Solomon & Sheba film which was great. Also Olympics & film I'd been waiting for Conrack about teacher who taught black kids with humour.

Steven Earl's Birthday. April Fool's Day. Main event of day was going up Town with Shaz to get her pressy. Also bought MOD headband & new kagoule! ACE!
2nd April 1980
Went to Town again to change Sharon's ear-rings. When came back coloured in bit of Steve's Doodleart. Lovely day. Painted mudguard white on my bike.
3rd April 1980
Sharon Earl's Birthday. Gave Shaz her present & bought Smash Hits with free Gaz Numan badge. Lovely sunny day & went over mudguard (paint).
4th April 1980
Didn't do much but I managed to paint both my mudguards. Another lovely day. If Shaz was here we might've gone to the Baths. Watched television after tea.

Received letter off Ann & wrote back. Painted mudguard & may have to go over it a 3rd time. Quite boring day but weather was nice again. Watched long edition 'Dallas.'

Another sunny day. Painted mudguard for last time. Had bath & watched football. Rubbish stuff on telly considering it's Easter. Robert Redford on tomorrow, though. Also got perfume free called UNSPOKEN.

Another sunny day. Schofield getting on my nerves. Had quite good day & when I got home did HMWK and watched a load of television again. Saw Tony once!

Weather not as nice as yesterday but still warm. Only got Geography HMWK. Watched telly including TOTP with UB40 No.4 & Detroit Spinners No.1 for 2nd week. Saw Tony twice!

Saw Tony twice & boy did I enjoy it! May go to Town tomorrow. Didn't get much HMWK. Had bath. Watched 'Play Your Cards Right' & 'Cannon & Ball' which was funny!

Watched Tiswas. Went to Town & bought MOD ear-rings (70p) and a Police badge - couldn't find UB40. Watched film & Eurovision Song Contest. Ireland won, UK 3rd.

Had usual boring day. Washed hair, watched football & other programmes. Ate bag of crisps later on & watched rpt of 'Love Story' & it still made me cry!

Saw Tony 3 times. My stomach turned the first time cos he was quite near me & our eyes met. Oooh what a feeling! His name read out in Assembly AGAIN! Bought batteries for radio.

Period finished YESTERDAY. Saw Tony twice. COR! Went to Stanley Park to play tennis. Listened to radio at school, Blondie No.1. HMWK & watched television (quite good).

Good day today. Wendy gave me a Trimplicate book. Saw Tony once & came sunny in afternoon. Didn't say on Mon that I've got Replay Pen off Ann. Watched telly after HMWK.

Got up quite early for a Sat. Watched Tiswas in morning & in afternoon went to Town with Shaz (who started her period today). Bought Alice Band & MOD badge. Watched telly later on.

Up bit later. Finished Hist HMWK. Didn't even attempt French cos it was too difficult! Had bath & washed hair. Watched lot of telly but of course couldn't miss Top 40!

Claire Woodcock's Birthday. Main event of day was that bought sandals like Sharon's (£9.99). They're lovely! Hull KR won Rugby Cup Final against Hull. Ace game.

Not exciting day but what did surprise me was that my right sandal is slightly rubbing my toe so something'll have to be done! Listened to radio outside all afternoon.

Underdogs West Ham beat Arsenal 1-0 in FA Cup Final (deserved it really cos they played better). Lovely 17 year old lad was on their side & he was chuffed!Beautiful day & saw Red Arrows.

Sunny day but windy. Still sunbathed & got a tan. Had bath, washed hair with Shaders which don't make much difference. Listened to Joe's Vehicle Radio & our radio (Top 40).

Ann away. Saw Tony once. At S Park though. I wouldn't see nice lad but did cos he sprung on me & Chez on his bike. Me, Mum & Joe rode down to Cleveleys on bikes.

Saw Tony twice. Storey away so sunbathed instead of playing tennis! Quite good day & enjoyed myself. After tea travelled to Preston with Joe & Nan. Came back home to watch Coronation Street.

Danny's Birthday. Got up around 10am. Listened to radio all day & also went to shop for Mum. Read History & watched last one of Cannon & Ball & Citizen Smith.

Finished period later today. Read Plague Dogs (finished it). Painted. Couldn't sunbathe cos it wasn't sunny. Listened to Top 40 & watched film 'Oliver' seen it before.

Boring day. Asked Shaz if she wanted to go up Town but she didn't. Bought some glue from Kendons 47 1/2 p. Watched telly including The Shooting of J.R. in Dallas (don't know who's done it).

Weather bit better than yesterday. Went to shop for Mum & got Gingerbread recipe off Chez. Painted again & read a bit of 'Shardik.' Watched last one of 'Life on Earth.'

Up bit earlier. Listened to radio before I went to Town on my own & got scrap book & Smash Hits. MASH No.1 with 'Suicide is Painless.' Notts Forest beat Hamburg 1-0 in Final.

1st March 1980
St David's Day. Not very exciting day. Bought bargain Nail Polish Remover 59p. Watched telly rest of day although weather was gorgeous! Dallas on which is always good.
2nd March 1980
Wee little boring day Jimmy! Had hair washed. Should've gone out cos it was a gorgeous day. Stayed in and watched ace film 'Hanging by a Thread' with FIT FELLA IN IT!
3rd March 1980
Saw Tony once. Another lovely day & sunbathed BUT got little rash! Had quite good day really. Had Maths HMWK - BOO! Watched Kenny Everett (nowt else on really)!

Saw Tony 3 times. Pretended to forget kit so couldn't do Games (crafty eh)?! Not warm day but milder than usual. Did HMWK. Bored so listened to tape in bed at 8.15!

Saw Tony 3 times. Rained for most of day. Hated lessons cos we had Chem. Bit of HMWK. Didn't watch box much but listened to radio & taped couple of songs.

Saw Tony twice. Another rainy day but not cold. Straight after school had my hair permed again (took about 2.1/2 hours). Watched 'Top of the Pops' which was rubbish. BLONDIE No.1.

Saw Tony twice. Awful day. Had Phys Test & went to Choir for a laugh! Did Games in Sports' Hall. Not much HMWK really. Crap progs on box so listened to tape so I listened to tape in bed at 8pm.

Saw Tony twice. Don't know what's wrong with Don, Linda & Ann. They all think he fancies me! BULL!! Sun came out late in afternoon. Had quite fun-packed day really! Quite a bit of HMWK. 'Call of the Wild' on the box.

Saw Tony 3 times. Wish he'd take his duffel coat off! Got 45% (25th) in Phys test - quite chuffed really! Beautiful day. Fern Kinney No.1. Robin Cousins 2nd in World Champs.

Got pen I am now writing with(!) Sun actually came out today - must be cos it's lovely Friday! Didn't have much HMWK. Hope to go to Town tomorrow as I need to get Ann's present (got some dough too)!

Ann's Birthday. Never forget today as long as I live. It started when Tony had to go on stage to get Rigby Cup & I was stared at by girls in class. Girls bullied me on way home. Not anymore.

Watched Tiswas. Shaz couldn't go to Town cos of her COLD! Anyway, got trainers from Cottams which are BRILL! Snowed but not very cold. Watched box.

Getting nearer birthday. Received £1 off Aunty Sylvia & Uncle John which was nice of them. Didn't go out cos I talked to Nan most of day & watched box.

My Birthday. Brill day. Got Nail Varnish off Shaz - with book (also off Juz too). Brill clock off Dad, trainers & £3 (another £1 to come!) ACE DAY, Also watched rpt of The Goodies & Going Straight with Ronnie Barker.

Didn't see Tony today. Horse called 'Tony' won race on Grand National Course. Silly me picked Norton Cavalier (2nd). Genesis on Top of the Pops. The Jam still No1.

BREAK UP. Didn't see Tony again. Mr Rigby in one of his 'get out of the classroom' moods. Had quizzes seeing as it was the last day. Had riot when Mr Graham came in. Film on 'Duel.'

Not very exciting day apart from watching the Grand National. Ben Nevis won, mind (Royal Frolic) nearly got round but it refused. Dad's 4th. ACE prog at night.

Quite warm day. (Boring, though). Washed hair & watched telly, then played out with Shaz & came in to listen to Top 40. Brill film on with Barbra Streisand 'Funny Lady.'
