1st May 1981

Just saw DL bottom of Peele staircase again (didn't see him after that though)! ACE & quiet without Wendy! Sunny day for once! Telly crap!

2nd May 1981

Up 10.30am. Sunny day but quite cold so stayed indoors. Read bit of 'Fluke' & 'Liner' books. Telly good incl Cannon & Ball & last one of Dallas.

3rd May 1981

Claire Woodcock's Birthday. Not exciting day. Weather didn't help, although brightened in afternoon. Read books & listened to radio.

4th May 1981

MAY DAY. Weather not too clever. Read 'Fluke' which is cute. Radio on & DLT at Alton Towers where I'm going. Telly quite good incl film.

5th May 1981

Getting worried about 'p.' Should've started today. Weather weird but didn't rain till night. Boring day & didn't see Terrible Twin.

6th May 1981

Still not on & STILL haven't seen DL. Saw TH though. Quite warm day. Lessons not too bad. Telly good.

7th May 1981

STILL not seen DL. Rumour has it 5/6 have left - better not 'ave! Lessons good today - so too weather. Telly good. Adam No.1 TOTP live.

Shaz saw DL & Heath but me & Chez DIDN'T! Getting to like Karl Bebbington now! He's in my class for another yr yet! Watched telly.

9th May 1981

Listened to r player upstairs in morning. The FA Cup Final was ace, mainly cos Spurs equalised! (1-1) against Man City. Replay Thurs.

10th May 1981

Listened to r player upstairs again. Had bath but didn't wash hair. Uneventful day. Watched (yet again) bit of FA Cup Final. S Perryman in ace. Film good.

11th May 1981

Beautiful day. KB laugh! Gonna get address soon. Didn't see DL. Wendy back - glad she is too! Telly not much cop except C Street.

12th May 1981

Karl's address is 209 Newton Drive nr Stanley Park. WOW! Another gorgeous day. Saw DL first thing in morning. Eng/Braz match Braz 1-0.

13th May 1981

Didn't see DL but KB at school & nr him in Gen Studies! Cute! Shaz got nickname for him - Woody (cos of nose)! Watched telly.

14th May 1981

REPLAY OF FA CUP FINAL between Spurs & Man City. Brilliant final cos Spurs won 3-2! Best in a long time. Villa scored 2 & Crooks 1. Very exciting!

15th May 1981

Happy cos DL staying on for another 2 weeks. Woody in class. Close to him a lot. Naughty me!

16th May 1981

Weather couldn't decide if it was going to rain, be sunny or what! Washed hair & sat in extension & went to shop. Watched telly. Cannnon & Ball brill.

17th May 1981

Weather not too brill. In fact it rained a lot. Had bath. Listened to radio all afternoon & read. Watched telly too incl 'Yearling.'

Not fair. BOTH terrible twins SUPPOSED to be in Main School & ONLY Sy turned up! Great innit?! Saw Bebs though in class. Weather crud. Telly good.

Shown when KB nr me today (cars cum past with balloons on & he sed 'Spastics Outing!' in front of me yer see, nr window). I had to laugh! No DL.

Nearly went to Gym to see KB but afraid Deb would say something! Saw him a lot, though. No DL but SH here. Telly not bad. Eng.

HALF TERM. Pretty quiet really, even though 5th Yrs have left - boo hoo! Hardly any flour about. Still got KB to look at though! Saw him d time.

BREAK UP. Thought I'd be reading all day but went to Town with Shaz! Bought ace AC/DC t-shirt £3.50. Skint now!

Danny's Birthday (14) Went to Chez's but not in. Weather not exceptional. Watched telly incl Cannon & Ball.

Shortest bath eva today - cold! Went to Chez's but not in - again! Lovely sunny day. Listened to r & w. telly.

Watched The Great Escape at night yet again. Enjoyed it though. Weather changeable. Read a lot of Eng books 4 exam.

Sunny all afternoon so went out to sunbathe - not windy though so didn't get much sunburn. Chez working. Telly.

27th May 1981

Real Madrid v Liverpool was 1-0 to L'pool in UEFA Cup. Weather awful. Listened to radio & Top 6 of 40 remains same.

28th May 1981

Weather better than y'day, specially in aft/noon cos sun came out & STAYED out! Played with Phil's 'Puzzle 6' game.

29th May 1981

Thought we would have some nice weather in aft but sun came out - at 7pm! Didn't bother going to Chez's. Listened to radio.

30th May 1981

Wales drew 0-0 with USSR. England lost!!! to Swiss 2-1 (should sack RG now - get G Hoddle on)! Weather alright. On bike loads of times!

31st May 1981

Up around 11-ish. Had dinner & waited till Dad came home so could put 50p in for bath! Ace bath too! Listened to radio & watched quite good film.
